The chache is located in a creek bed. The land belongs to my grandad and he knows about the cache and is fine with it so don't worry about the private property sign.
The terrain is rough so the best place to enter the creek is from County Road 19 on the SOUTH side of the creek (there is a trail road on the North side but you will have to cross the sometimes muddy creek bed to get to the cache). There is a trail road on the south side which is pretty rough, but it will cut your walking distance in half. Please leave only footprints in the creek and leave any rocks or nearby inhabitants.

Please replace the object you take from the cache with something and please leave the pencil, pencil sharpener, logbook, the letter left for you to read, and *camera (please take a picture of your group or yourself and then leave camera).

*If the camera is not inside the cache I have removed it for developing.

Thanks! Hortcacher and I have a long drive today. This cache gave us a chance to stretch our legs.

Thanks to the cache owner for telling us that this is on private land and that the landowner knows about it! Otherwise we probably would not have searched for it for fear of trespassing. Since previous logs mentioned dampness in the container, we brought a another container in which we enclosed the log then left it inside of the original container. We also left a TB to start its journey. We enjoyed the hike in. We saw lots of cactus but no snakes (thankfully!).

Today we (OKLS1596 and I) are traveling from Cheyenne, WY to Oakley, KS. It is the first day of a 3-day drive home to Stillwater, OK. We are logging counties in the eastern edge of Colorado along the way. This was a special stop to drop our TB. TFTC!

Found it with GalXE. Cache was pretty wet inside, including the log book.

This was an incredibly fun cache. We had a good time finding it in our local area. We also decided to be the lucky recipients to take T-Rex Sawyer on his/her journey to its next cache. TFTC. DAHE

Fun cache to find after the short drive by the creek. Didn't see any deer. Took the dinosaur to log it and take it to a new home. TGTC!

Great little jaunt. Dogs loved the run. Not tooooooo rough of a walk, but if you have mobility issues you may want to skip this one. No trail to speak of. Creek was hiding due to Summer. Passing through from Michigan to Oregon. With Judikat. TFTC.

We walked in from County Road 19 through the grasses. Never did see any kind of trail, but ran across some of the inhabitants, one that we put upright. Container was damp inside. Lots of water in the bogs that made getting to the cache more challenging. No camera, but we read the letter. Left a new pencil sharpener for the CO and exchanged swag. TFTC.

Fun cache to get to (if you like hiking or have a 4x4). Daughter got a lil nervous in the rig.
