Find #48561

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Smile Thanks so much for the hide SAMANTHA1234, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!

We headed out to the eastern plains today with our dog Fred. We all had a great time and found 40 caches. Sunny and low 80s. No snakes seen and very few muggles which made for very fun caching.

We searched for this one but could not find it. Left a replacement.

Out roaming the plains collecting singles and redeeming DNF's If possible. Also wrapping up a series or two.
Log was missing so I replaced it. Thank you for the series!

Enjoying the day traversing the countryside, acquiring many miles and boosting cache numbers!
Nothing better than caching along the back country roads of America! Thanks for placing these out here. Replaced wet logs and broken containers as needed. Initialed logs

We went on a plains drive of 137 miles today for four hours with Katie Geodog. There was a loop of 21 caches we had not yet found in the Eastern Plains series and we were able to find all of them. The weather was great and the views of Pikes Peak, Mount Evans, and the other Front Range peaks were magnificent today. It's always neat to see the Hoyt tower and we saw a large variety of bird species, including a huge number of Kestrels. There was some mud although it wasn't too bad. The mud did show us the previous cacher's vehicle tracks and footprints as well as some deer hoof prints. Thanks for the placement, SAMANTHA1234!
