Twin Lakes

at Twin Lakes, 1/2 mile off forest service road, on 4wd road
Take your camera for a fantastic view of Sharkstooth and Hesperus mountains, with two little lakes for a great foreground. Cache is a half gallon plastic jar. ATV enthusiasts can find this on the Aspen Loop Trail.

Beautiful spot for a geocache. Doesn't get much better than this!!! We were out on a journey to re-visit a spot with a friend that was dear to us.

Found this cache easily in this gorgeous area and on the way here we saw a big red-tailed hawk!! What a wonderful place - views everywhere! We grabbed the cache, signed the log, took out a water bottle (we were afraid it would freeze and then make a mess), we left a toy indian and a toy car. We re-hid the cache and were on our way back down the hill. What a beautiful area! Thanks for the hide!
Oh, we saw that this cache was found about a month ago, according to the log. It just must not have been logged in online!!

Beautiful reflections in the lake today. Rainy and cool up here. What a great place for a geocache. Been by here lots of times but never thought to check the map for geocaches this remote. TFTC
