The cache is where the old tower once stood - look to the north, step down a few rocks then turn right and find the stash.
The cache is in a watertight plastic box. Due to it's proximity to an operational fire tower, there may be some items related to Smokey Bear or fire prevention. There is a log book along with a pen. The road leading to this cache is not open in the winter.

Never been here before but appreciate the view even if the tower is closed. Had the land to ourselves. We must be super doper short it was a good 15 paces for us. Thanks for placing this cache high upon this mountain ?!

The family and I decided to take a trip to the mountains for a picnic and a hike. Of course I picked where to hike to get some caches along the trail. Need to make my hikes worth while right?

Ended up running into Pixel Magic at the first cache of the day and joined them for the rest of the days excursion. Fire Tower was a highlight for sure.

Ended up having a wonderful day caching, hiking and eating in the mountains. Thanks for the caching fun along our path
