FTF! with nite_raven and Gwen; at 6:10pm. nite_raven, Gwen;), and I spent today on a Highway of Legends loop exploring / fishing trip. Started with a sunrise round of disc golf in Trinidad at Kit Carson Park and finished with this FTF! After getting a late lunch at Skinny's and hitting the lakes in LaVeta we decided to give 520 a chance for a different route to GZ. A lot more scenic than we expected, although very dry. Absolutely everything, the fishing gear, interior, us, everything was covered in a dust layer. I always enjoy exploring and love any roadside history. Thanks for bringing us out here. I've actually got a cache very nearby in Badito.
