This spot was chosen as it is a special place for our mother/grandmother. Her father made everyone camp by this lone tree every time they went to Taylor Park. She wanted to place one here on b-day as a special tribute to her dad. 50 years of family camping history. Hint look near the creek by one of the many rocks.

TFTC! {FTF} We had been following this cache since its inception. We have only just now had a chance to come out here to look for it. We were both pleasantly surprised to be the first to find the cache. And it IS a great campsite.

{FTF} with CB_Beauty. The correct coordinates are the ones in the CO's log, not the posted coords. We made the error before realizing we were in the wrong spot and headed up a mile away. We were trying out our new to us UTV which is perfect for caches such as this. One could drive a passenger car with careful driving, if one knows how to roll the car over uneven terrain, but it would take a long time to drive, as it is a rough road. I don't think I've ever seen a cache so true to its name, even the writing utensil was 4th of July themed. Well done. I took a pic of the log to show we were the only names and the container had not been found yet, hence we have the FTF. We saw one camper the entire drive out here, so had the Texas Creek area to ourselves. Amazing the difference between July and September and the amount of visitors. With that being said, this is an awesome campsite.
