We created this cache as we were getting packed up from our 4-day camping trip on Independence Day. Beautiful spot between Colorado's two highest peaks.UPDATE: My GPSr was off the day we created this cache. The coordinates are inaccurate - 39* 09.100 and 106* 26.512 is the correct location according to people who have found it.

This is a standard ammo-can cache. Initial contents include a logbook, pen and pencil, a few Hot Wheels, a baseball, some Play-Doh canisters, a plush dog, the Go West Old Lock travel bug and the Silicon Froglets TB.
Chief is our Siberian Husky - he doesn't care much about Geocaching, but sure loves to join us for the hikes!
Because of its location, this cache will probably be inaccessible due to snow in the winter.

06/19/2018 By Boundertom We were headed to the Champion Mill, but I decided not to risk the water crossing. Stopped for this cache on the way back. Thanks for the cache!
06/10/2018 By benji55545 My tent-mate didn't sleep very much overnight because she was too cold, so I donated my sleeping bag to her at sunrise and set off on a walk to this cache. It was quite chilly at first but I was breaking a sweat on the way back. Beautiful views along the road; we stopped about halfway between the campground and GZ yesterday to do a little fishing in the creek. We didn't catch anything yesterday, but finding the cache today was a welcome change.
The cache is in great shape! There was a group camping nearby but fortunately GZ was out of their line of sight.
