Friday night cache flight! After work I headed north to complete a Whereigo and grab as many caches as possible. I didn't grab as many as I hoped, but ended up with 19 for the day. I replaced a few caches that were missing or damaged. During my adventure I walked through prairie dog fields, saw a hawk, horse and cow, scared a mouse that then scared me, and pet a French bulldog/Boston Terrier mix. Unfortunate fuel provided by McDonalds. Music by Blue October. Pretty successful night.
I found 2 containers here. One was on the ground, mostly covered by leaves. I opened it and found signatures going back to 2014. Right after I signed it, I spotted another container. It looked just as worn. But the log only had signatures going back to 2018 and contained a cork. I left the original container and took the second.
Beautiful sunset at the nearby lake. TFTC!

Added all we had that would fit; a wine cork! Happy finding.

I looked for this back when I started caching. Didn’t think it would be this long before I made it back to look again. The bushes have been trimmed since then making an easy find today. Thank you for the placement!

I liked the sign with the dog on it so much (reminded me of the canine crew at home) that after searching for a long time, I placed a new camo container according to the hint. Thanks for pointing out these awesome dogs and trainers! They help so many people!

Find - Think about the cause

Found it 01/15/2017 By Paws & Sniffs
First tried to make the find on my way to going down to the South Platte parking for a little caching with the Geodoodle. However, there was someone out in the yard walking dogs around, so I came back after our walk and no one was out in the yard this time, and was able to make the find. Happy to find this one - working on a challenge cache that requires finding caches with dog themes! What a cool place this is - went onto their website to learn a little more about this organization. Always a fan of shelter dog rescue organizations - gets a favorite point for that! Thanks for placing this cache!

Had a great day exploring along the South Platte - not many people out today.

Found at 2:05 p.m., find no. 635.

Found it at 1530.
I was thwarted last summer because worker muggles were in the area. Today nobody was around, although a lone car was parked on the road across from GZ.
It took me maybe 5 minutes to spot the cache container; I was trying too hard, as in retrospect it really stood out. Glad I got this one, as it helps me with one of the trickier challenges I'm working on.
