To get there is easy by ATV or off road vehicle (within steps). The Cache is in a somewhat difficult place to access. It's much easier to come in from the old house down below, but the walk is longer. Be careful and have fun.

Every year we go to the old homestead at the base of the trail with the kids. They always expect a night ride and a harrowing tale about how this frightful place became abandoned. When sitting around the campfire they say smoke always follows beauty, but to get the smoke to go another direction we always say "I hate white rabbits" and that seems to do the trick. This isn't guaranteed to work, however, it sure is fun to say.smiley

We drove over from Goose Creek and when we hit the pavement the GPS said we could get to GZ in 19 minutes, so away we go.

After a short hike and search I was able to make the grab.

The log was still blank?

Thanks for a fun hide, nice story and another FTF!
