This is a family style cache with items for children on a nice trail on the southern edge of Chatfield Stare Park. It is a little over 100 yards from a small parking lot.

Cache is an army style ammo box. The trail is a gentle downhill slope from a small gravel parking area alongside the road at 39.30.556, 105.04.175. This is an area we enjoy walking through and exploring that is away from the main traffic areas of the park.

Found this one on a bike ride with Mrs. Aardvark56 on Mother's day. Filled with kid swag. Signed log. Nice to actually find a cache that is NOT a micro. Cache is in great shape.

9:40:00 AM Out for a ride on the Highline today. I dropped a Colorado Trail hiker off this morning at Waterton - which was the perfect excuse to go for a ride here! I ended up getting lost ( I didn't realize that the canal wasn't continuous) and explored a new bike path near Chatfield. Luckily, since it was Sunday the construction crew wasn't working and I was able to meet back up wtih the canal.. I also had to yield (actually walk my bike) past some very skittish horses. And I quit for the day when I found a rattlesnake guarding a cache. Lots of adventures! Thanks!

Huggle and I found this one while out on a jaunt today. We made the find with no problem. The cache and contents are in good shape. We signed the log, left Minnie Mouse, and took nothing. Thanks for placing this cache so that we can play!
