The cache is NOT hidden at the posted coordinates.  Solve the following puzzle to determine where the cache is hidden.

From the posted coordinates, project a point 1014.801 feet at a bearing of 266.91499803442 degrees.  The container is hidden at these projected coordinates.

The Pineries Open Space trail was opened on 6/27/2020.  It is an 8.7 mile loop from the parking lot with about 500’ of elevation gain.  From the trail you can see some old growth Ponderosa Pine forest as well as burn areas from the fire of 2013.  For more information, please see the following link:  https://www.trailsandopenspaces.org/trails/pineries-open-space/

The wife and I were excited to get out and visit this new open space and snag some of the newer geocaches in the area. We got a later start than we wanted but the clouds moved in and we hiked in rainshowers for the final few miles of the hike. All in all, a great 9 mile hike!

Made quick work of the puzzle and was prepped to get it today. I had some trouble at GZ until the wife spotted it. Glad I have her around. The inside was wet but the log was dry. Snagged the jeep TB and left two in its place. TFTC!

TFTC. puzzle solved by k9jayhawk. so started on this adventure loop while it was cool. SL. There was water inside the container but log was dry inside the plastic bag. So rt'd to its location. Discovered Jeep tb & left for the next cacher.

Finally a cache that was about my height! Thank you for bringing us to this new open space. Most caching fun I've had in a while. We watch where gampa&gamma have been hiking recently and tremble over the thought of where we might have to go next (that we thought we were through with). Oh well...some exercise caches are in our future. Wish I had more favorites to give out. Need to do more caching first.

I did the projection and got the green light. Estes01 and I made the loop hike today and were starting to hate the unnecessary twists and turns seemingly constructed just to make the trail longer. We probably encountered a dozen other hiking parties and at least twice that many bikes. The terrain makes it easy to step off far enough to keep the requisite 6 foot distance from others Smile. TFTC!

Now, how did Hartsdale get all the way out here so early? Good job Bob!
Didn't understand the hint at first but then it all made sense.
Signed 2TF on this perfect day to be out and about.
Thanks for the puzzle and hide
