While I was out for a walk the other evening I came over to the hallar. Half way across I stopped and took a moment to remember when the area had burned.  The first time it burned it was 1997 or 1998.  It was about five acres in size and burned right up Stone Quarry Rd.  The second time it burned, it took out nine houses and was much larger. Its interesting to see the ecology and all the plant life returning to the area.  (Granted it has been over 14yrs since the fire).  Be very careful as the hike into the bottom is steep and the terrain is loose.

After receiving a couple of requests to check on this little bugger, I found that if had been opened and it's contents strewn about. I was able to gather it all back up and placed it back happily where it belongs. This area see LOTS of young muggles so please take extra care to place it back EXACTLY where it was... the log needs replaced eventually but is still usable for now. Have fun and think of the name...... ; )
