A camoflauged rubbermaid container hidden at Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory Ski Area).
We've stayed at a condo at Purgatory several years now, and wanted to leave a cache with a view of the Twilight Mountains that we enjoy as we stand on our balcony. After much debate, the best place seemed to be on a steep hillside just below the condos.

To get to the cache, park in public parking (condo parking is for guests only) and walk along Sheol street to the tunnel skiway. At this point, go east and down the hill, along the skiway, then skirt just below the edge of the hill to the cache.

Southeast
The hillside is very steep, so use care, especially if ice and snow are present. If you are careful, there shouldn't be any significant climbing.

While I took multiple coordinates, the trees will interfere somewhat, so the description below should help. The cache is just southeast of pole #3 of the Graduate Lift. It's just below the Twilight View Condos: I recommend going from the top, not the bottom. It may be inaccessable when there's significant snow. Muggles may be present, including peeking at you from the adjacent condos or ski lift, so use stealth.
Muggles

There are great views in all directions: in fact all the pictures are taken from the cache site.
