Thanks for this great series of geocaches. Barasaur, Thomas, and I set out to work through this series as well as attended a mountaintop meet and great. (That's how its done in Colorado)

For future finders of this series:
there is no trail
the terrain is rough
it took us 5 hours to cover two miles
it is all worth it

While I like all aspects of geocaching from time to time, this is my favorite. Just hiking, enjoying the scenery, and then getting a smiley while hanging out with friends.

The family and I decided to take a trip to the mountains for a picnic and a hike. Of course I picked where to hike to get some caches along the trail. Need to make my hikes worth while right?

Ended up running into Pixel Magic at the first cache of the day and joined them for the rest of the days excursion. Fire Tower was a highlight for sure.

Ended up having a wonderful day caching, hiking and eating in the mountains. Thanks for the caching fun along our path

Had to replace this one. It is moved into the trees near the fire pit.

Stopped and grabbed cache quickly. The container lid is broken and the cache is right next to a fire pit. It needs a little attention and probably some adjustment

Renee and Peter were out caching in area, most specifically getting the wonderful Lavabo Series by Triggur. Since this cache was close by we decided to head on over. Renee got down to GZ rather quickly as I looked out over the beautiful view. The Forest is restoring itself and is doing a great job at that. Thanks for this easy cache. Glad you brought us out to this spot.

Spent the day jeeping and caching along Deadman Road with Mountain Roamer and grabbed some caches along the way.

Found the cache quickly. Looks like someone might have used it for target practice...the lid was broke and there were holes in the container. I placed it back into it's hiding spot and tried to protect it the best I could.
