I am so glad Lemonheadmafia isn't afraid of heights and that climbing is part of his job. I couldn't even watch him scramble up there! Sl, thanks!

I won't lie! This cache made my stomach sink more than ANY other cache I have tried to get my hands on. If it weren't for KJKlock's efforts in pushing us to get this I most likely would have walked on and taken a sad blue smiley. For the memory this cache created I am awarding you a favorite point.

Found GC141HF - Stevens Gulch Overlook, on September 12, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, climbstuff for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!
That cliff edge tho!

Tried to find this one a few years ago with no luck. No problem this time. GZ looks scarier than it is. Be brave and go for that smiley.

Denali41, non-caching friend Ward, and I made the very fun climb/scramble up Kelso Ridge today. It was a really fun way to summit Torrey's! After Torrey's we hiked across the saddle and up to Gray's. Then we headed down the mountain. On the way down we had to stop so I could climb up to the Overlook. (Denali41 had already found it in the past.)

When I got to the crack it was easy to see that this cache could easily slip into the abyss if not placed carefully. Fully expecting that with so many DNF's that it truly was missing, I obtained kriskook's permission to replace the container if I couldn't find it. I couldn't find it so I put a replacement in the crack shown in the spoiler photo. It is a silver bison tube. I first placed some stones in the crack to keep the tube from slipping further down and then I covered the tube with some more small stones. Be very careful retrieving an replacing the cache! In fact if a future finder could tether it somehow, that would be great.

Thanks climbstuff and kriskook for placing this cache. It's quite the drop-off into the gulch!!!

I attempted to find this one along with Abunai Inc. and shamrock&angel. While the women rested near the trail, the men risked our lives in an attempt to find this cache. I hadn’t looked at the spoiler pic before searching, but now that I have seen it, I'm sure that I searched that large crack quite well and still did not find the container. After I reluctantly gave up the search and climbed down to safety, we saw a different group of folks ascend this rock structure just for fun (not looking for anything in the rocks). Seeing them up there made me realize how scary this appears to be to on-lookers. Certainly, it's a riskier place to be than on the trail, and I think I will hear about how stupid I was for climbing it for a long time to come.

Not sure if this one is still there.
3 of us looked for several minutes and didn't find it.
This is a crazy place to put a cache.
I'm tempted to log a "found it" just for the effort to get here, and the imminent death involved with even attempting this thing.

Not so much a "DNF" as a "WTF."

I started a little ways up, then decided against it (rocks were wet and I was hiking alone, so nobody around to notify next-of-kin). Crazy!

If Grays Peak has a 5 Terrain rating, this should be 6!
