One of the caches in the Lunch Loop series, designed to encourage the area's many office workers to take a break at lunch and take a leisurely walk.

Congrats to Going_Up on their first ever FTF and Colorado_artist as well!

You're looking for a well-camo'd plastic container containing a log and a number of tokens and foreign coins.

This one requires some care! It's in the middle of a poky scratcy russian olive bramble.

The container is on a lanyard so please don't yank too hard. Please be careful with the latch.

Ouch! Watch out for thorns. This log is really showing its age.

The container is doing well, but the recent storm might have left some water inside. I dumped the water and stamped my name on the log.
Today I left Aurora, chased by a downpour of rain. By the time I got to Broomfield I had eluded the storm and only dealt with occasional drizzle. But it was obvious that the rain had already passed through. Normally dry areas were covered by standing water. Dirt was now mud which attempted to vacuum away my boots. Many of the logs were slightly damp, which is a given in this weather. I saw red wing blackbirds and a peregrine falcon. Headed back to Aurora and found the storm once again.
Thanks for the cache!

Little geocaching in Broomfield before Christmas.
