The cache is not at listed coordinates but is very close.  A parking lot is near listed coordinates.  We're the team of m4fun; Lady Fun, Sir More Fun, and Ginger The Amazing Geocaching American Bulldog.  We heard about caching from Lady Fun's brother and his wife so we gave it a shot.  Our first caching day was 6/26/2009 and we found a few traditionals and had a couple DNF's that day.  On the first day, our two teenage boys came with us.  They're grown now - how time flies!  We even attempted a Claudey Mystery without realizing the cache wasn't at posted coordinates.  With the CO's help, that one turned out to be our first Mystery cache a few days later.

I have had this in my solved stack for quite a while. I finally got out and signed the log today. TFTC

So this puzzle had me perplexed. I did every google search I could think of to try and get some answers. Finally I asked the CO for a hint and he obliged. After I solved that I went down to the spot, saw the trail closed sign but knew another way to get to the GZ so followed that. Cache and log are in excellent shape. Thanks so much for the cache and the clue.

I drove up from Cañon City to attend the 2018 GCCO Trackable Race event. I wanted to grab some puzzle caches in the area while I was here. The first time I saw a puzzle like this it took me weeks to figure it out. This time it just took a minute or two. The gate to the parking lot was closed so I parked on the street. About halfway to the cache I saw a "Trail Closed" sign. Well, since I was almost there I decided to go for it. Fortunately this was a pretty quick find and I got the log signed and got out of there without attracting any unwanted attention. The container and log are in good shape. Happy (belated) geocaching anniversary!

After attending the nearby event, pursued several caches on the way home. Circled around the beacon and then zeroed in for a quick find. Nice hide. SL. TFTC

I didn't do it SnailMan's way... I interpreted things to be the sign meant the fenced area, and went all the way around that!! Shock BigSmile (bad boy! ) Cache is in good shape... but the hide won't last forever. Millions of grasshoppers this summer!

I was glad to find a resource recently that you don't have to subscribe to.

This cache:

This was one of the puzzles I's sobbed during the past couple weeks in anticipation of my Colorado trip. I was glad to be able to stop by and make the find this evening. Tftc!

Why I was here:

Due to a missed flight back in April, I had a voucher for a free roundtrip flight. This weekend, my wife was kind enough to watch the kids while I flew out to Denver from Michigan. As always, my plans were wildly ambitious, and I only found maybe a third of what I was hoping to find. But it's all good. Colorado has some great caches (and virtually no spiders, which was a pleasant surprise!). Thanks to all the COs for your time and effort!

Why block the parking area and with a sign that say No Trespassing??? That No Trespassing sign stopped by from walking down to GZ.
