Welcome to Stage 4 of the Colorado Cryptex Cache Adventure!

Night Cache

The given coordinates are to the parking lot for the trail.  Follow the reflectors on a relatively short walk to find the cache!

If you haven't found Stages 1, 2 and 3, it is best to start with CCCA Part 1: Adams County Cache GC4EYJJ

Start at the trail parking lot.  The reflectors are small white squares that are placed on the left and right of the trail. 
 

One Reflector - Keep going you are on the right path
Two Reflectors - Turn Right or Left (look for the next reflector to know which way to go)
Three Reflectors - Cache location

The walk is on a packed gravel path until you reach the cache location which is not far off of the path.


Part 1: GC4EYJJ - short two stage cache
Part 2: GLBB4P4P – regular cache
Part 3: GC4EYKB – night cache, short two stage cache
Part 4: GC4EZEF – night cache, short night trail cache
Part 5: GLBB7FFB- Final Cryptex cache

At each stage you will get a code for the cryptex and part of the coordinates to the final location. Don't forget to write them down but please don't share with other geocachers!

A fun night trail... some reflectors are missing but definitely doable. I would guess it’s about a 1/4 mile walk each way and you do get away from the houses eventually. Even saw a great horned owl on the walk.

I enjoyed the CCCA series... wish the CO was maintaining. You can get part 2 if you walk down past the NO trespassing sign for about 500 feet. No one around so I didn’t see the harm... however... if you are good at following the rules... which I think is best... you can look at my photo that is attached to this post... it is the info you need from part 2 to finish this series.

I was out with Thomas er I mean Sara for these night caches. It was an entertaining journey. At GZ, the next step was guarded by a large spider who had incorporated his home into what had to be reached. I did so with as little disturbance as possible. Thanks for the nice walk and fun cache!

Got it! When I arrived in the parking lot at about 10 PM, there was a person sitting at the end of the parking lot that made me a bit uncomfortable, so I tried to get this one very fast. Of course, trying to rush made the process take longer than it should have! I choose the wrong path twice, but I finally found it! This was was amazing, and unlike any that I have found before. Just one more stage before having all the info I need to complete this series. TFTC!

PPS. There are no longer three reflectors at the final cache location, only two.

First of the series that we tried. I love caching at night. So combine caching with night for night caching and I've found a new love. Super fun. Found with @intrepiidexplorer and @WindAtMyBack . Tftc!
