The above coordinates are NOT the location of the cache, in fact, they are no where near where our story begins . . .

Recently the oceanographic-drilling ship ‘Prime Time’ set off from Perth, Australia and sailed to somewhere in the middle of the Indian Ocean and began to drill. The coordinates of their drilling site were believed to be S 38 50.153 E 75 7.490. Using highly-advanced technology it is felt that they were able to drill directly through the center of the earth (don’t ask me how they were able to get through the magma layer!) and emerge somewhere on the opposite side. There, their eccentric captain, who has an obsessive interest in prime numbers, cleverly hid a clue. Then they filled in the hole, as it were, covering their tracks.

We solved the puzzle and found stage 1 in October 2018, but there was only a log in the container (no clues to further stages). Contacted a previous finder for help and hiked to the final today before the cold front blew through. Trails were icy in spots but enjoyed the hike and views. Thanks for a fun puzzle cache.

For several weeks icezebra11 and I have talked about getting out together for a day of cache-finding. Today it happened; we drove down from northern Colorado and had a great time hunting down caches in the hills above Manitou Springs! We started the day on the Red Mountain trail and ended with a long hike on the Section 16 trail system. We found some great caches, took in a brief afternoon rain spatter and hail flurry, and had a fun, memorable day together. Each of the caches was hidden in a marvelous location, and some required a bit of dedicated work to reach them. All-in-all, a super day of geocaching. Thanks to each of the cache owners for hiding and maintaining the caches we found!

I have to admit that icezebra11 did the heavy lifting on this puzzle by solving it for the final location. I normally don't log a puzzle until I've had a successful independent success on the puzzle, but I am doing so here after having signed the cache log with Brad. I do now have the first portion solved and will run my solution coordinates through the geochecker. Thanks for Antipodes, Colorado Paul!

A couple weeks ago Denali41 and I made plans to travel south today to the Pike's Peak/Colorado Springs area to go after a bunch of caches, starting at the top of the peak and working our way back down the mountain toward CS. Last night I texted my son who lives in the Springs that we'd be there today and asked if he wanted to hike with us in the Devil's Playground area. He said "good luck" because the Hill Climb was happening today. So we had to alter our plan to eliminate all the caches above the toll booth. We still had a full day of caching, as we fully expected we wouldn't be able to get to all the caches on the target list, even without the caches on PP.

After making a nice hike to Redstone Castle we headed for Sec. 16 Open Space. We had quite a few caches targeted both high and low and we decided to go high first, hoping to get as far as Third Stone from the Sun but the weather moved in and we only got a little over 1/2 the caches we wanted to get. So we headed for home but on the way we stopped and found this cache. We searched near GZ but it didn't look like a probable spot for a cache so I pulled up the cache page. With the photo, we adjusted our search and quickly found the container. Signed the log and then headed for home. Thanks ColoradoPaul!!!

Solved stage one of this puzzle, but then had to reach out to a previous finder (YamaGypsy) to help get through the next few stages. Note to future finders...apparently, the subsequent stages have errors on the puzzle sheets...so I was unable to finish solving on my own, but was glad she was along to guide us to the final. TFTC

Enjoyed a hike with RPieperco and kiddos today. We've hiked this area before but it was a great excuse to explore this trail again. Beautiful views and a great finale smiley at the top. Sl thanks!

Thanks for the fun cache! Headed back up this was for another cache and this one. Quick find at GZ. Signed and stamped the log and replaced as found. All is well here! Thanks for the puzzle and hiding this cache in such a great location!

Wend and looked for stage 1 today, to no avail. I am convinced it's missing, as I spent a little while looking for the cache using the spoiler photo, and looking for it beyond that. Hate to be the bearer of bad news. Seems to be a curse for me today as I would go on to DNF 3 others today.
