Hmmm, it seems the Kelpies succeeded in luring the previous cache into the water and drowning it (who knows, maybe muggles or a troll helped the kelpie).  Being a pohka though I have to tempt the kelpie or at least lure cachers here to tempt the kelpie;-)  To remind you,

Kelpies were a water spirit who appeared as black horses to people, often mistaken for pohka's. Kelpies are said to lure humans, especially children, into the water to drown and eat them. It performs this act by encouraging children to ride on its back. Once its victims fall into its trap, the kelpie's skin becomes adhesive and it bears them into the river, dragging them to the bottom of the water and devouring them—except the heart or liver. A common Scottish tale is the story of nine children lured onto a kelpie's back, while a tenth keeps his distance. The kelpie chases him and tries to catch him, but he escapes. A variation on this is that the tenth child simply strokes the kelpie's nose but, when his hand becomes stuck to it, he takes a knife from his pocket and cuts his own hand off and cauterizes it with wood from a near by fire. He saves himself but is unable to help his friends as they are pulled underwater with the kelpie.

This area is part of the Coleman Park area and is popular with people walking their dogs. Coleman Park is used by the local AAA baseball team when playing home games, please factor this in when going after the cache.

Needed one for the day and it was close by. Took a few minutes but was able to locate it and attempt to sign the log. The cap had been cross threaded so made a quick trip back to the auto for a tool to help open the lid. It worked and had the log sheet in hand in short order. Log was used up so I left a new fresh one. If the CO would like the old sheet I can get it to him. TFTC SL

Wow. If not for the eagle eye of Jeremy, we would never have found it. I did not have a pen, and that worked, so I took a picture of the log instead.

Went island hopping and still didn't find it. We'll have to try again.
