The Cache

The container you will be searching for is at the posted coordinates. It is a blue painted ammo can with a white mystery icon 3D printed on the side. When you find the container you will find that it is locked. You will need to solve the puzzle below in order to open the container and sign the log.


The Lock


Find a ten-digit number containing each digit once, so that the number formed by the first n digits is divisible by n for each value of n between 1 and 10.


Let that answer be A,BCD,EFG,HIJ. The combination to the lock would then be AJ - AD - JD

I note that one of the 31 event dates actually come from an event I attended earlier this year.

My puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo were with me at the find location. I gave them first crack at opening the lock, but it became quickly apparent that they were much more interested in a nearby morsel of food that someone had tossed into the trees. So I needed to open that rascal without their assistance. Thanks for the challenge, Jesse.

We were just talking about how when we first began geocaching we didn't even know events existed. Now we've been to so many and we qualify for this challenge. The big challenge was solving the combination lock puzzle but here we are and we made the find got it open and are headed back to Denver

Had the cache in hand quickly once I arrived at GZ, and was able to open it on the first try. Events are one of my favorite aspects of Geocaching, and have been since I started - the Project-GC output shows that I first met the Challenge requirements for this one in October 2010.
