This was placed in honor of our 6 month anniversary of being together.  This cache is not at the posted coordinates, but it is a good place to start.  Letterboxes as true letterboxes only use clues to get you to the container, Hybrids may or may not use coordinates for the final location.  The other rule for a letterbox is that it has a stamp in the cache. You can collect the inked image of the stamp if you like and sign the log.

You are given a mission of finding a treasure in the city. Your hint to get you there is to find a bird in the city that is willing to help. Look around to find a large orange creation.

“Let me help you”, you hear as you near it. You notice it open a door to allow you inside. As you step inside it asks you where you are headed. You state that you need to go see a bird and the directions told you to head to the southeast down an angled road. “I can take you as far as the large rock. Hopefully there you will find what you are looking for. The orange object starts to roll down the road with you inside. As the object stops it opens the door to let you out. As you near the large rock, you spy the bird you need.

You approach and ask "excuse me, I am on a mission to locate a treasure. Are you able to help me?" The bird looks at you and replies "you are the person I have been waiting for. You need to head into the stone and brick structure just to the northeast. Find where you enter and go below to the cave. There you should find what you seek." You thank him and head on your way.

CONGRATULATIONS to Psyberdragon for FTF!

I’m going to have to get a letterbox stamp book. That one was pretty cool. My pen died, so I tried to do an etching (didn’t work). TFTC

TFTC! Our first letter box! This was a fun adventure! Left a few soldiers to guard the cave.

Wow, that was fun! This is what a letterbox should be. I had to come up to Colorado Springs to pick up a pair of glasses and this was right on my way. There was plenty of free parking near the great pumpkin. I've driven by this many times but never stopped for a closer look. That thing is awesome! I followed the directions and within a few minutes had the cache in hand. I left some of my personal geo-cards and signed the log. I don't have a stamp yet. I'm going to have to fix that little issue. Thanks for the morning fun. Favorite point added.

Little bit of Texas here in Colorado for a few days as we head towards Wyoming to drop our son off for college. Doing some site seeing and adding a few smileys to our map. Thanks for maintaining and placing the cache. Nice and easy...so peacefull..

Picking up some caches in Colorado Springs as I move to Wyoming. This was a very park and grab with the gang and the weather is a lot nicer then Houston Tx.

I had not put this one on my list, but a local cacher who was taking me around had this one on her find list. We scratched our heads a little at ground zero because caching letterboxes are often set up in different ways.

One I started reading the cache page, it was clear that we had to do this and that before we would find the treasure, so we did. It took some thought at the final but eventually we figured out what we had to do and where. We were happy to find a treasure at the end! TFTC

I drive by GZ frequently and enjoy seeing the mosaic. Really happy that a cache was placed here. It was a fun one; thanks for the geo-fun.
