Takes less than an hour  Available at all times  Available during winter

I'd never been to this area before, and thought it needed more caches. :) Just off an established trail. LOTS of yucca/cacti in the area, so long pants/closed shoes are recommended.

A couple of dogs in a nearby yard were barking at me from on top of a HUGE pile of dirt when I placed the cache, hence the name. I also couldn't think of anything else.

Finally, sweatshirt weather this morning; perfect for caching.

I too took the harder way but was successful in finding the cache.

Picked this one up while in the local area. I haven't found a claudey cache for quite some time, so I decided to come after this one since the CO has denied me the courtesy of hiding a nice cache right in my front yard. My phone had me going in circles, so I was happy to finally make the find on this one. Thanks to the CO for placing this cache for everyone to find, TFTC.

Wow! Thanks for the cache! What a neat little spot tucked in back here! I was in the area for another cache and decided to come over here and check out the open space. Glad I did! Small, but really pretty back here! I took the hardest way possible to the GZ, stepping over a million cactus on the way. Once at the GZ I spotted the container pretty quick. It was completely exposed. I stamped the log and replaced in the same spot but a little better and some cover to help hold it in place. I can say... It was peacefully quiet for me! Not one bark! Thanks for placing this and bringing me to a new area of town!

TFTC. SL nonsequential. So happy to be back in the Colorado Rocky mtns to cache. We just spent 6 days in Vegas while they broke records for temps above 100, the winds blew so much dirt that several days we could not see the hills around the edge of town. Drove up to SL on the oldest cache in NV & cached a bit of the ET trail. Then 3 days in PHX w/more temps above 100, completed the pages for the AZ DeLorme book.
