Is sight of the old Gunbarrel Trail that ran from Pine Bluffs, Wy to Greeley, CO.
At the house across the road and north about 500' look to the NNE and you can see the old trail It crosses Co 14 but there is no place to park, There is a marker about one mile East of CTY Rd 71 but the Landowner knows it is not in the exact spot. It crosses the highway about 600' East of the old north bound road just East of CTY Rd 71. At this spot look to the SSW, towards this marker, and you can see the old trail

This is a very interesting history cache. One of the things I like about caching are these sites we wouldn't have noticed without it. Thanks for the hide! Gets a favorite point.

Spent the day looking for geocaches in the grasslands. Replaced some containers and logsheets. As usual, a very windy day making it a challenge to keep logsheets from blowing away. SL, thanks for all the placements.

This was our 7th Day on our Geocaching Adventure in Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming. We enjoyed driving on all of the back roads seeing the fields with crops, farms, cows and horses roaming in the pastures, prairie dogs scooting around, antelopes, and even a Llama. Thanks to all of the CO's for their efforts and time, we appreciate having the coords right on, hides in logical places. Happy Caching BigSmile

Saw a Mother and Baby Antelope as we pulled up to the Cache.......

Well golly geez, the last two caches have given us trouble! This one had us going back and forth across the road and walking through lots of knee high grass. Guess that's why this is known as the Pawnee National Grasslands, huh? Thank goodness Mrs. YoungHummers looked again where Mr. YoungHummers and I had already searched! Yep, she found it!!! Definitely not a cache and dash for us! TFTC
