A commerative cache to the cabin along the lake. The cache is placed in above the water somewhere in the slowly sinking cabin. Be careful where you step, as it is probably not in your best interest to take a plunge!

Have fun and happy caching!

We used a 4 wheeler to get up the road as far as we could, but during June, when it was placed, the road was blocked off. There is parking available down a little lower to allow a short walk to the cache.

[FTF] 07-03-2020 AT 7:37 AM.
We woke up early this morning to head west for a possible FTF. After grabbing Starbucks we were on the highway hoping to beat the July 4th traffic jam. We did. We made it to the dirt roads and then our navigator did us wrong. It took us on an unnecessary side road. A Jeep road. Thankfully, we have a Jeep. @2lablovers Subaru definitely wouldn't have made it off without loosing it's oil pan. Once we returned to the regular road it was smooth sailing to the parking area near the GZ. Let me tell you this. If you stopped at the parking area you would be disappointed. No views, just several small camp sites. But we followed the trail to a majestic view. Beautiful lake and a decaying cabin. We knew exactly where to go. After a few pics we headed that way. The still lingering smell of campfire hangs in the air. We made found the structure and began searching before muggles sniffed us out. It took a bit of searching, but we made the find. After stamping our name we returned the container to it's home and headed back toward the Jeep. Wonderful experience.
Thanks for the cache!
