Too chicken to go 4 wheeling? Instead take a beautiful walk through historic Silverdale.
Container only contains a logbook.

The signal was generally very poor on this whole series.
If you get better coords or better directions to get to the cache, please help your fellow cachers and post them!

The caches are on old abandonded roads/trails that have not been maintained.
There are no signs, and minimal trail maintenance.
There is significant altitude gain if you do the whole series.
I saw no one while I was placing the caches on a beautiful Saturday.

The cache is at the bend in the trail at the far side of a HUGE boulder. The ammo can is in plain sight, and near three downed logs/trees

Today was (finally) the day I targeted the “chicken” series of caches above Georgetown. My puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo had been bugging me for several days, reminding me with their pleading eyes that it had been too long since I’d taken them out for any decent hike in the mountains. So I considered options and decided to begin our day of adventures on this nice trail system before heading to some other hiking destinations. We drove down from Wellington early, encountering essentially no traffic through the Denver metro area as we drove south and then west toward Georgetown and the beginning of our hiking adventures. Once on the trail, it took a bit of trial and error to always be taking the correct route at the several junction points. But we were pretty efficient with the decisions and soon worked our way up to the jewel of the hike–the D 5.0/T 5.0 cache at the turn-around point. We scored on all seven of the chicken delicacies that we tried for, and were nicely sated by the time we turned to head down. Thanks for contributing to this great series of caches!!

Went for a nice walk along some old mining roads and trails near Guanella pass - this was the third of four geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

I found this one while hiking with Nickgatt, Barasaur and his geohound Lucy, MemfisMafia, and my geouhound Cuervo. Our goal for the day was to find the 5D5T cache on the mountain. TFTC SL.

A beautiful day to be out in the mountains! I joined Nickgatt, Killian33 + Cuervo, Barasaur + Lucy and Memfis Mafia on a nice hike up the Chicago Lakes Trail to pick up the Chicken caches and the always elusive 5X5 traditional cache. Of course, we took "the shortcut" and had to bushwack up to this one located on the trail. Nice place to catch up on the oxygen. Cheers!
