No luck with this one today. Not enough hints and my phone wasn't loading any of the prior logs even though I had downloaded them. I suspect I just wasn't looking in the right spot today.

Headed this way because lasouthpaw wanted a cache for her D/T grid. I've learned any time she says "there's this challenge..." it's best to just nod and go along. We got a late start, but had a great hike out and back. Thanks for the cache!

I've been craving some time in the mountains and luckygecko is in town, so we headed over to Golden and the Beaver Brook Trail. We got here mid-afternoon and it was cloudy, but that was a good thing because it kept the temperature around 65 degrees. About a mile down the trail I realized I made a rookie mistake and forgot a pen. And we were just a little too far to go back and get one. Wouldn't you know it, we found a pencil just off the trail while we were looking for our first one along the trail. This one took us a while, but we managed to make the grab. Log is still pretty wet, our pencil just punched holes in it. If I was better prepared I would have replaced it. Thanks for the smiley! Find #3452.

We got within 300’ but David wasn’t comfortable going further on trail with the big rock to crawl over. So we turned around. Oh well.

Out caching this glorious morning with Weatherman64! We made the trek out to grab Kelsey’s BeaverBrook Cache. We tried this cache on our way out to Kelsey’s but couldn’t locate it. On our way back to the car we stopped and tried again, this time really going after it! Weatherman64 went in and did some intense bushwhacking and I stayed a little lower. We gave it a valiant try but couldn’t come up with anything. Finally, I saw something that caught my eye and sure enough it was the cache!!! Yippee!! Thanks for hiding this cache for us to find! IHN!

That was a tough one to spot. Later in the spring and summer it will be nearly impossible to spot. Glad to get it today. I got it out with Wisewarrior and Littlehawk. TFTC
