From Canon City go to Florence. From Florence go to Wetmore. At Wetmore turn right on hwy 96 and go to hwy 165. Turn left on 165 and go 'till you see a red and black mailbox that says Fire Dept. (.9 miles north of Bishop's Castle.) Turn right at the mailbox and stay on Forest Service road 360 'till you get to the junction of 360, 369 and 634. (360 IS CLOSED IN WINTER.) At the junction of 360, 369 and 634, curve left onto 369 and go 'till the road ends. The elevation of the cache is 11,354 ft.The cache is an army ammo box. The original contents was a Fisherman's Kit, a 3 pc. lock set, a 100 pc. marble set, a tennis ball, an ATV, a deck of poker cards, a note pad and pencil and a disposable camera. Please take a picture of yourself and note the number of the picture with your entry in the logbook.
Apparently, someone has move my cache from its original location. I didn't do it and I don't know who did. Unfortunately, I don't have a vehicle that I can go up there in right now, so it'll just have to stay where it is until I do. Sorry for the confusion. Happy Geocaching.

06/23/2015 By nite_raven Beautiful views up here! Took lots of pics. Discovered the cache in an entirely different spot.
06/23/2015 By LeewayeDiscGolf After seeing where this hadn't been found in awhile but the CO had retrieved the camera we figured we'd give it a shot after getting View from Above. Amazing views from up here and a great spot for a cache. After walking down to GZ we searched for about a half an hour before giving up. On our way back up we spotted an ammo can sticking out of the pine tree. Sure enough, it was the cache. After almost 2 years without a smiley it is still here safe and sound. The last log in the cache appeared to be an elk hunter and the last log online was the CO so we left it at the tree and added some rocks to hold it and some camo to hide it. Nice container. I've included some pics of where it now is.
Boulder down there is GZ. Cache is in this tree.

06/17/2014 By jedr2313 Notice this one hasn't been found in a while.Searched everywhere for quite a while and came up empty handed. If we missed an ammo box we must be blind! Great views all around here and on the trail.
