This is one of our family's favorite locations. We have been visiting this location for several years. Last year while enjoying a picnic in the area we discovered "Mother & Father" near by. This area has some beautiful quartz, and we call it the quartz quarry. During the summer months a 4x4, ATV or dirt bike is required, unless you don't mind a hike. During the winter snowshoes or a snowmobile will be necessary. Hope you enjoy this area as much as we do. The Taylor Family - Scoobym13

Geocache container is replaced! We snowshoed in for 3 miles on a very windy day, replaced the original size and type container, and then snowshoed out. Didn't see or hear a soul the entire time. I'm not the record owner so I can't do "owner maintenance," but this geocache is ready to be found again. Please hide well as there are quite a few muggles in this area even though it's remote.

Still waiting for the weather and avalanche-y snow conditions to get a little better and safer - then I'll go up and replace the container. Please don't archive this in the meantime, as it was featured in the Geocaching International Film Festival 2018!

We were beaten back by gale force winds so were unable to place the cache as planned. We had goggles, mittens, heavy jackets, balaclavas, snow pants, snowshoes ... but we still felt it was unsafe for two of us to brave the conditions. We saw a team of mountaineers practicing snow anchor systems at St. Mary's Glacier who also quit early due to the weather. Oh well - I'll keep trying!

FINALLY hoping the weather will cooperate so that a friend and I can snowshoe up and replace the container Saturday! Thanks to the Reviewer for not archiving this cache in the meantime, and I wouldn't expect the owner to go up with his kids and all. This location means a lot to my family.

So disappointed to not find this cache. I saw the carving & the UPR next to it but I saw the cache had been relocated in it last replacement so I expanded my search to all the outlying boulders, on top & the trees but was unable to spot a cache. Was so hoping to get 100% but not now.

Out caching with Team Red Rubicon again and finding a few caches while here. We must have missed finding the stone, but the cache was found quickly.

Found the cache back in October....but forgot to log it.
Spent the day jeeping in the area and grabbed a few caches along the way.
