Out checking out some new to us trails in the area and grabiing caches. We actually were taking shelter from the rain when we found this one.

We went for an after-Thanksgiving-meal hike this morning to walk the dogs and catch a few caches. This was our second one on this lovely fall day. Took the eraser and left a pencil and a pathtag. Also switched out the log baggie for a smaller one that fit better. Thanks!

Sorry for the late post, but too much caching & not enough logging because I prefer to use my GPS & not my phone in areas where a signal is not guaranteed. I was so glad to see the big bridge was not washed out & I could continue my hike. The road to the TH was closed at the campground so that really added to the distance of the hike. The rain was falling off & on so I didn't stay dry. Fortunately I had my hiking sandals & didn't have to get my hiking boots wet, but the water sure was COLD! I had to be careful not to slip & fall yet go fast enough as not to freeze my feet. A hike I will never forget! A fav point for a hide on a trail I like to ride.

We came out for a short, late afternoon walk and enjoyed dodging the miniature streams that run down the middle of the trail. The creek crossings are fun too. Gotta love the late spring at higher elevation! This was a fun adventure. Great container and placement, all is well at GZ. TFTC!

Dianne and I decided to hike to Rosalie Peak via the East Ridge and caught this cache on the way back down to the Deer Creek Trail head. We had to widen the search to find the cache. Dianne is on a roll today and spotted this before I did. My pen died so I took a photo of the cache and signed with a twig in the plastic baggie. Too bad this doesn't have a pencil since the container is the perfect shape. TN LN TFTC!

Had a nice trail ride to this cache. Have not been on this trail in awhile. The Tanglewood trail higher up is more rocky than I remember and was not so good for the horse and mule. Turned around and took Rosalie and a short way up there was a fallen tree that obstructed the trail for the equines. Had a shorter ride than expected, but a a good time anyway. Fairly easy find, which is unusual for me because I am not so good with this type. TFTC!
