Added Camera to Cache 6-23. take a pic as you sign the log please. From Crested Butte head towards Mount Crested Butte and take the Slate River Road 5 miles past the turnout for the Oh-Be-Joyful campground, through Pittsburg (Ghost Town, Few Private Homes). Don't make the Switchback to start up Paradise Divide, Stay to the left. Park where the Road Closes. (was there today (6-23) and sign was posted saying road will be closed on the 28th of June. From here follow on foot the old road for about .4 miles. It's pretty much flat to the cache but there is a stream crossing involved. I have not reconoitered a crossing on foot as of yet but there is a spot here and there it can be done. When you get to the end of the road you are there. Picture is a spoiler of sorts. But a good hint.

Java Chip and I were in the area camping near Pittsburg and decided to find this one. GPS was a little jumpy but settled down for the easy find. TFTC!

We came by this one from Schofield Pass and over Paradise Rd. in our Santa Fe. Not too hard at all. We found a pallet someone had left as a stream crossing, but the water wasn't too high. We followed the hint from the last finder and had no trouble finding this cache. Followed this road on down back to Crested Butte. Lots of folks camped along the way.

TFTC. I am glad to give this one a bump. After reading the other logs, I was worried it would not be here. Last time it was found was 4 years ago. This was an easy cache in an easy to get to location. Nice place to have lunch while we chatted with some other hikers.

TFTC, found with CB_Beauty. Coordinates are spot on, the hint is spot on and CBB walked right to it. The container is now a rusty cookie tin, and blended in perfectly with the scree. If you are standing at the bottom of the scree and look directly up the mountain towards the one big rock in a sea of little rocks, the cache is right behind it. I walked barefoot across Slate River to the cache and hop-scotched on rocks on the ay back to the parking lot. I took nothing, but left a toy Soldier. We saw two hikers while we were there.

Crossed over the very very cold stream. (mid-shin level deep). Nothing around the area.

Found the location but not the cache. Beautiful spot. Will likely camp here one day. Thanks for taking me here even though I didn't find the cache :-)

Reached GZ but cache currently covered by avalanche remnants - still one of my favorite places!

Very scenic spot for a cache and perfect for ending our day on Treasury Mountain. The hint definitely helped on this one and it didn't take ernie66 long to locate it. TFTC.

Found today with estes01 on our way down after hiking Treasury Mountain for the High in Colorado cache. I drove to within 100 feet of the cache and we found it after a short search. Very nice location! SL, TFTC!

We went directly to the spot and searched under every rock, but no treasure
