This cache is a small little find hidden off Chimney Gulch Trail. It's a good 15-20 min hike from the nearby parking lot. (See the way points) It's also mostly up hill from there, so expect a little bit of a hike. From there you get an amazing view of Golden and the Mesas on the other side of town! Be very careful of snakes in the area, they are around sometimes in the summer.

Today wss a free day before the conference starts, so I got up early and went to Golden to do some caching and hiking. In the end I walked about 15 miles and found 17 caches, despite some DNF here and there. Unfortunately I did not realize that the light rail does not go all the way to downtown, so I got stuck 3 miles away with no bus connection. That was the first hike... Then up to tabletop mountain, down again and up the other side to mountain view trail and the Buffalow Bill lookout. On the way down I realized that my legs are sun burnt, but apart from that it wss a great day and I enjoyed the scenery and the nice caches out there - thanks to all the cache owners!
