The Mine
N40 43.355 W105 36.422
18-JUN-09 5:33:06PM
ELEV. 8311

The access to the cache is a four wheel drive road that is moderate (Sevenmile) to start so a 4 wheel drive SUV with good clearence should make it, HOWEVER, to actually make the ascent to the cache, will take a bit more. The steepness of the hill and the aggressive rock should make it a bit more challenging. It can be hiked (Denali41 and Teewinot) and the find will be a rewarding look at an old mine shaft entrance.

Do not access the mine!

A 50cal ammo can is the hidden cache.
Have fun and be safe.

Out with kenott yesterday riding ATV's and grabbing a few caches on the Sevenmile trail. My legs were telling me this is a terrain 5, hehe. Was worth the hike, as we found the mine and the cache. Really neat spot, gets a favorite from us. Also, I saw a few elk up on the ridge as we hiked off the road toward the mine. TNLN SL TFTC

DANG IT!! After driving up the challenging spur up to this cache, then hiking out to the actual cache........I did not see the mine entrance!! How did I miss that?? DANG! Oh well, Guess I'll have to come back sometime. TFTC! Hope this spur stays open unlike the one for Midget Cabin.
