We headed out on a short caching adventure to clean up a few caches in Boulder, Niwot and Longmont. We were also doing some CITO'ing for an up coming BriGuy Cito event just in case it gets cancelled. We searched the area for about 10 minutes and could not come up with it. Seeing all of the previous DNF's. We placed a similar container with log at GZ to keep cache going. SL

We didn't find anything here, I did spot a likely hole with a spider living in it, but after removing the spider (sorry spider) there was nothing to be found. Spent a little more time looking along the rock wall and on the ground, called it quits. TFTC.

Wow - you got us with this one. Thought we'd inspected every nook and cranny, but evidently missed the one we needed. Based upon a prior log regarding the wheelchair access, the coordinates seemed to be putting us right where we needed to be, but no joy today.

After finding A989 I headed up Lee Hill Drive. I was raining as I drove up the road but I could see there were some breaks in the clouds that I hoped would give me time to look for this cache without getting soaked. Well, the clouds cooperated and I only got sprinkled on. The signal seemed to bounce quite a bit off the rock face but I was able to find the cache relatively quickly. Thanks dzadventurers for luring me up to this nice area!!!

We walked by this cache a few times before finally spotting it.

This was one of my toughest, scariest, and most frustrating geocaching days so far. I started by spilling my coffee on my work shirt, then driving about 3 miles past the first geocache in the mountains. Wandered around till I found my way back. Then an Audi (I already have a distaste for them) was on my rear bumper when I came around a sharp corner to find a deer in the middle of the 2 lane road. I slammed on my brakes. The Audi barely missed me, swerved into oncoming traffic and nearly hit an oncoming car. He fishtailed and took off. I pulled over at the next pull off to calm down. Then I got in over my head climbing a rock wall (solo, no ropes and I'm not a climber). Finally got down after I was drenched in Adrenalin based sweat. Then a 20 minute search for a different cache without luck. I ended the evening at 9:30 pm with 14 finds.
This one was clever. I passed it twice. Well placed with good coords. TFTC!
