There is nothing to see at the starting coords.  Don’t bother going there. Instead, solve the puzzle.

To be completely honest, I don’t go fishing.  But I used to. I also remember hearing people telling the “Big Fish” stories.  This cache is a Big Fish story.

Be VERY careful.  I am not responsible for any cacher who lacks the intellect to be safe and avoid the many dangers they will encounter.  Here are a few facts about the area and the cache:

  1. A recent study revealed this area has the highest concentration of Black Widows in the entire metro area.
  2. Six mountain lions were spotted during renovation of the area in 2001.
  3. Discarded construction nails have penetrated the shoes of at least 1 geocacher here.
  4. A new form of Poison Ivy, which looks more like Kentucky Bluegrass has been recorded at this spot.
  5. Ticks, scabies, and fleas are abundant in the vegetation.
  6. Remnants of radioactivity and contamination from Project Rulison in Colorado are detectable in the soil.  Well within acceptable levels according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commision.
  7. Sometimes sewage seeps up from underground and makes the area a little muddy.
  8. Be careful of discarded razorblades and used needles.
  9. This sacred graveyard was paved over June 4, 1982.
  10. A young couple fulfilled their suicide pact at this very spot.
  11. People have reported feeling the presence of spirits and seeing ghosts of the departed at night.
  12. The container was fashioned by gathering lama spit and letting it harden into a weather-proof trapezoid.  I was going for a rectangle, but I’m not much of a carpenter.
  13. I grabbed the final coordinates while driving by in a car at 47 MPH.  I hope the coords are good.
  14. The handmade log sheet is made of recycled toilet paper pressed into a firm piece of paper.
  15. The prairie dog colony which inhabited the surrounding area has been completely wiped out by the Plague and rattlesnakes.
  16. This is the sight of Friday night gang fights and car racing.
  17. John Simptson was photographed picking his nose at this very sight.  His run for a City Council seat was ruined when the pictures were published.
  18. Charles Ponzi’s ashes were accidentally dropped here.
  19. This container is sooo shiny! It’s made of aluminum foil taped together with clear packing tape.
  20. The final coordinates are within at least 75 feet of the container.
  21. The puzzle can be solved simply by looking at the cache description.

My, my, what a bunch of lies have been afoot! Made the find and I would say it's worth a favorite, but that would be a lie.( Or would it?) Thanks LiD.

We had to look around a bit before I was able to spot it. Glad the snow wasn't too much of an issue. SL. Thanks.

This cache had us looking around until Lord Mike put right and found it. A fun container. This was our last cache of the day.

A puzzle that even a puzzle challenged cacher, such as myself, could find. I expanded my search and made the find. Thank you for placing this cache and helping to keep our recreation going.

So that Lying Monkey Fish has taught the checker to "lie" too but I'm too smart for that. Made the find- the container is kind of gross. Everything is in good shape. TFTC!

Are you sure Lying Monkey Fish and Honest Monkey Foot are brothers? Such different people - maybe one was adopted? We were really scared when we first read all the things he had to say but then remembered that Honest Monkey Foot had explained everything to us. We were very glad it was a quick find so we didn't have to hang around this disreputable "thing" for long. His family should really give him the boot.

This one was so "different" in every way that I have no words, except signed log! Thanks for the cache, I think....
