About the Series

I wondered for a while what sort of a cache series would make sense for me. Then I suddenly realized I could combine geocaching with another of my hobbies. I'm a specialty coffee freak. I'm a certified barista, roast my own coffee (on a Gene Café roaster), have a quite serious home espresso machine (Quickmill Vetrano 2b Evo), and regard cappuccino as one of the basic food groups. Thus was born the Cuppa Chino series. These will be placed near coffee-related sites that I find interesting.

These will probably be mostly cache and dashes, just because of the locations, but I'll try to watch for the opportunity to do a challenging hide from time to time.

About This Location

Had a cache at another in this chain, but it closed. This one is nicer. Fairly straightforward, but may take a little looking.

My day started with a gorgeous sunrise and then it was off to meet up with good caching buddies GanderGoose and #1 Beefers to conquer a caching plan in DTC area. I didn't have my morning coffee so thought your cache would be the perfect first cup. But, no cup of Joe or joy today.

Out with good caching buddies GanderGoose and mooseyaround today. We came armed with 2 cell phones and a GPS, determined to get every last cache on the plan. Had much fun and topped it off with a picnic and a few extra caches. Unfortunately we just could put our hands on this one.
