Needs maintenance

Your going to think this in the cemetary but its actually on the trail that winds behind the cemetary. It is a small container that has trading items a log and pen.
Animal Lover

SO I went to a class in Alma the other night on what to do if You encounter a bear. It was really intresting. So one of the best things to do is carry Bear Spray, it dosent only work on just bears but other animals too. The animal does have to be between 19 to 30 ft to be effective. Spray it towards their eyes and hope the wind is not blowing your way. It will get rid of them hopefully and dosent really hurt them because its just a high concentrate of cayanne pepper. A good metal whistle is good to wear around Your neck it will startle them because the bear won't recoginze the noise. Make Yourself as tall as possible and make lots of noise. If there is more than one of person in your party make a sandwich so that Youll look bigger. Still make yourself as tall as possible by raising your hands above your head. DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK ON ANY ANIMAL that is threatening you and DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT. DO NOT RUN!! A Brown Bear is what will mostly be found in this area. They are notorious for false charges. The bear will come at you DO NOT RUN! keep faceing the bear, it will mostly likely come at you, Stop! Pound the ground with its front paws and bark at you like a dog and then run off. A lady was attacked outside of Alma just two weeks ago while she was walking her dog down the frontage road along Hwy9. She lived, The poor dog did'nt. The reason was she was wearing an IPOD and didnt hear the bear come up on her. If your gonna wear an IPOD it was suggested to maybe wear it on one ear only. So You can hear whats going on around you. I know that most bears wont do anything because they are not really intrested in Us and I know We all secretly hope to see one on the trail. Im just sharing what I learned. Addicted & Lovin'It!!

Caching w/k9jayhawk in the mtns around Breck & happy the sun was shinning. We turned over a lot of log piles but didn't find this cache.

Caching with Psych01 in the South Park area...three pairs of eyes couldn't spot this one, even with the specific hint.

Guess we were tired after a long day. We'll come back and try again another time and do the hike.

Visiting this area once again, wanted to check if the cache made it through the winter and rescue the TB we dropped off a year ago but there's still too much snow. Got quite a workout getting to GZ, sunk into the snow up to my thighs many times (exhausting these midwest lungs). Will probably be at least a few weeks before it gets uncovered, hopefully someone will come check out this incredible cemetery and save the stranded trackable.

This is our all-time favorite cemetery, we've been here at least 6-7 times (and we're from Chicago). Most of the past times the snow was too deep for much exploration, today it was a lot better and we were able to hike 2-3 miles without many issues. When we found the cache its top was broken and the inside was a complete mess. The largest replacement we had was a blue pill bottle, put in a new log & ziploc and dropped a cute little trackable... it's good to go and waiting for lots of visitors. We really love this area and highly recommend it to everyone, thanks QueenZelda for placing these great caches.
