An easy geocache at Happy Canyon Road and I-25. Travel bugs are welcome.

CCCooperAgency contacted me to place this geocache in Colorado as part of their Happy Geocache series and I agreed.

Eventually they archived it and since it had been a popular geocache, I requested permission to adopt it and have it un-archived.

Since then is has been refurbished a few times and has now been refurbished again.

On 18 November 2005 it was given a new look with a larger container that will accommodate travel bugs.

There is parking near the cache along the road. The parking lot has been closed.

I thought that I could take advantage of evening hours and low traffic to discreetly find this geocache. But I was surprised by the amount of cars going by. I didn't have any problems locating the cache. But there was no log inside. I replaced the log and returned the cache as found. Tftc!

A 2nd find on our way back to the airport to fly home to Pittsburgh, PA. Found the turtle travel bug which just happens to have a mission to tour all of PA, so we're taking it back home!

Visiting from PA. Stopped here on the way from Denver to Garden of the Gods, so that we could drop off a TB. But there was a car right there with muggles (or maybe geocachers?) in it, so we moved on. Stopped on the way back through, made the quick find, and left a TB. TFTC.

Out caching with FeartheFish and on our way to the mountains so we stopped to get this one. Slowly working off all the Jim Reeb caches. TFTC!

Got it. Working on Delorme pages and counties today. Needed another regular, too. This cache is helping me raise today's overall total to 26, the number of caches necessary to turn a given square in the 366 grid a second shade darker. The first such change occurs at 11 caches, and I've already done that for the entire grid. 26 caches is a whole 'nuther ballgame. Wish me luck! And thanks for the cache!

What a day! I have been looking forward to this for quite a while. I've been working hard and caching has taken a back seat for the last several weeks. I had planned this day off though to geocache with my brother down in Monument. His work schedule afforded him this day off and I've been planning and strategizing on caches for the last several weeks. The weather was beautiful and the caching extremely successful! We found 11 with no DNFs (although we got close a few times) and I filled in two Jasmer squares and FOUR FIZZY squares.

This was our first of the 11 caches. There's a great pulloff very close to GZ and after getting out of the car we started searching. Given the container size I didn't expect it to be too difficult, but it did take a little more searching than I expected. The container is in good shape, although the duct tape has definitely been affected by the weather. Glad to fill in another spot on my Jasmer with this one and then it was time to keep heading south!

Thanks for the hide Jim Reeb. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

I'm on an adventure from Denver to ABQ and am chasing a goal of 1500 caches by my 1 year geocaching anniversary on 10/10. I needed 47 when I left home this morning and have 3 days left to do it. Cheers! Hotel had no occupants.
