About the Series

I wondered for a while what sort of a cache series would make sense for me. Then I suddenly realized I could combine geocaching with another of my hobbies. I'm a specialty coffee freak. I'm a trained barista, roast my own coffee (on a Gene Café roaster), have a quite serious home espresso machine (Quickmill Vetrano 2b Evo), and regard cappuccino as one of the basic food groups. Thus was born the Cuppa Chino series. These will be placed near coffee-related sites that I find interesting.

These will probably be mostly cache and dashes, just because of the locations, but I'll try to watch for the opportunity to do a challenging hide from time to time.

Pretty perfect timing to look for this one. The Avs game is starting and all the fans are in the nearby bar instead of the coffee house. Well placed!
Today I'm on a caching spree, well sort of. That was my intention, but it fell apart. After grabbing a few caches near work, I headed west. About every other cache in Highlands Ranch was a DNF for me. A few might have been there. But I think the rest were gone. I got frustrated, so I headed home earlier than planned.

We weren't having much success when a lady opened the back door of the establishment and asked if we were geocaching. She said we were looking pretty much in the right place and with that encouragement Barbara spotted it right away. Nice hide. SL Went around to the front of the store and went in and talked to the friendly gal for a long time, She knew something about caching had had down a little. Barbara explained Adventure Labs to her and she took some notes.
