This should be an easy cache to get to. You will not be able to drive up to this one. You will have to walk no matter where you park at. This is not a long walk. 

Cache is a plastic jar with a few items in it and a log book. Be sure to put the cache back as you found it. When walking to the cache please be sure to watch for rattlesnakes.

This was a great cache to walk to (short jaunt over) for a break from scouting around DeWeese Reservoir. I was glad for the shade as the weather was somewhat intense, or I am out of shape lol Thanks for the Cache! TNSL

This was our 2nd ever cache, but only 1.5 miles from our house! Great view of the Sangre de Cristo range and Lake DeWeese. TFTC!!

Bandit and I are on a road trip. We’re headed to Great Sand Dunes National Park Gia Medano Pass. This was our second stop. We walked straight to this one and found it quickly. What a great location! The view of the lake and mountains is spectacular, although there is a lot of smoke in the air today. I just signed the log as I had forgotten to grab any swag out of the truck. Cache is in great shape. Thanks for a fun stop.

Decided to come out here this afternoon and enjoy a nice sunset on the lake. I sure did pick the perfect time to grab this one along my cache route. The sun was just setting behind the mountains and made for a great time to sit on the rocks for a bit and enjoy the view. Then a pack of coyotes must have just woken up and started yelping across the lake. It was a very cool few moments. Thanks for bringing me here! TNLNSL.
