The High Road may be the easiest approach to this cache, but if the High Road is icy or wet, the Alternate Route may be better (see gallery).  This cache can be reached as a walk-up whichever route you take.  The cache is well below the top of this rock but after finding the cache, you can continue to the top to take in the view... Pikes Peak, Mount Evans, and Highway 24.

What a great spot! I was fortunate enough to explore this area with ernie66 and estes01 today. Loved the fun approaches - had to do them both, of course. The view from the tip-top is not to be missed! Thank you for adding this cache to the map and sharing this gem of a spot with us.

I was with the CO when this one was placed. It's a good hike that I hadn't done in a long time. I really want to go back there in the fall to see the aspens turning. This gets a favorite point for reminding me of another great place that's so close to home. TFTC

Wow! Glad I kept this first on my list for the day, Im tired now. I made it harder than I should have but this was so much fun. Grabbed a TB to move along the way. Rocking the [FTF]!
