"It’s only me. I’m only going to look for a cache nearby," said the geocacher.

 

"Oh no you’re not! I’m going to eat you for my breakfast, lunch and tea!"

 

"Oh no!" said terrified geocacher. "I’m just a little geocacher. Why don’t you wait for another? He’s bigger than me and much tastier."

 

So the greedy Troll decided to wait.

FTF at 6:10pm! Busy area right now with softball games! Fun cache and hide.

This excursion was a comedy of errors. It's not too far from home but when I saw the notification, I started out thinking I would not make the attempt tonight. Something kept nagging at me and before I knew it, I was in the car heading to GZ. When I arrived, I realized I had not brought my GPSr, hat, sunglasses... or any footwear! I considered throwing in the towel right then, but decided to check out the scene and see what I could do. I did have my phone so I could do some basic navigation.

There was a real life troll sleeping under there! Looked female, I think, but whoever it was didn't stir as I passed by heading down to the water. Turns out shoes weren't necessary for this at all! Thanks for the barefoot-friendly cache.

I'm sure I looked like just another homeless person to the many bike riders going by. I'm thinking that looking homeless is a better disguise than a clipboard and reflective vest... I'll be using this tactic again Smile

TFTC! The hide was very well done, with or without the extra drama. Adding a favorite.
