It was interesting to try out the method for this cache. Due to a poor data connection we seemed to have a little trouble with this cache. But eventually the information we needed appeared on the screen. Thankfully we had two phones with us so we could scan the QR code, otherwise this might have proved a little more difficult. It was definitely a really interesting method and it has me curious about all the possibilities that this technology could be used for. I might have to take a closer look at this AR application in the future. My GPS seemed to be acting up when we got to the area so were presented with a plethora of potential options for the hiding spot, but Dud&Plato managed to locate the cache at the final quickly. Out and about today on a beautiful spring day with peace love pi and GotYour6. Seemed like it got colder as the afternoon went on and it rained on us a little, but we didn't care. We had Wherigos to find! This cache was at the same location as a Wherigo and we're interested to learn more about AR caches, so we gave this one a go. I'm a self confessed computer nit-wit, but we got our selfie and the coordinates to the final. Everything was in good shape at the cache, signed using "GuLP". Thanks for the smiley! Find #3387

Had the pleasure of caching with lasouthpaw and GotYour6 today. Our goal was the Wherigos in Loveland and Fort Collins. This was my first AR cache. I'm glad I had two smart women with me, I'm still not sure what we did. TFTC!

Worked like a charm. We too, hope that AR will have a future within geocaching. I finally have a smart, smart phone & trying out the various geocaching apps. These ARs were my first attempts. When I searched in the Metaverse app for the list of ARs by memfis mafia I didn't know to put the @ before his name. This way was easier for me than going the QR route.
Note to myself: being new to using a phone when geocaching - bring battery backup.
Anyway... TFTAR!

This one was alittle out of the way for my rest of the day plans, but I had just enough time to squeeze it in and get back on 36.
Anyway thanks for another fun one!

Found with EasternGirls and my son. This one was our first AR cache! EG loaded it up into her phone and we took a cheesy photo of us while my son ran around the park. Nifty idea using the AR to create a webcam-like cache! The final gave us no difficulties. Thanks for leading the way with this cache. I hope that HQ keeps these and also gives them a special icon!
