Not sure of the real name for this creek but I have seen quite a few turkeys down in this area.

A nice walk through the oaks will get you a smiley face...maybe.

The container is a lock n lock, somewhere between a small and a regular. Happy Hunting!

Kudos to Happydog67 on a very fast FTF! :o)

Great place for a cache. I only made 3 mistakes while hunting for this one. 1--it was WAY to cold to be up here on a 4wheeler. 2--I forgot that at 63 I can no longer leap from one spot to another and especially not down a hill and 3-- check out where you are going to land while leaping (especially if you are not going to land on your feet). I ended up in the middle of an ant hill, flat on my back, with the little suckers climbing all over me. Thank goodness they were black ants and not those horrid red ones. After much blue smoke, jumping about and slapping myself silly I got rid of them enough to finish hunting for the cache. Oh…maybe 4 mistakes….I found the cache when I stepped on it (it was buried in the leaves) and basically crushed the top! However I signed the log and managed to tuck it up under some small tree (bush) roots out of the weather. I Haven't had this much fun all winter!!

Out with the family on this beautiful day trying to get to the top of the Roan Cliffs and grab a few caches along the way. Thanks for the fun little cache.

Found this one while showing my older son what caching is all about and in true Polaski fashion, given two options, we took the hard way in and the easier way out. I didn't fall as far as Bear Grills, but 20' to the creek bottom was far enough. Son got a huge laugh out of that. Thanks for the cache, signed log sheet and went back to the house for dinner.
