It is one of the most popular and well-known delicacies in French cuisine and its flavour is described as rich, buttery, and delicate, unlike that of a regular duck or goose liver. Foie gras can be sold whole, or prepared into mousse, parfait, or pâté.

TFTC Well, it has been a long time coming, but I finally got the egg cleaned off my face. I should say that nicehice did the job by finding this cache I had DNF'd 4 years ago. It was good to finally see a Smiley face on this one. All was in good order. The cache was obviously just where it was supposed to be all this time. Now I can give it the well deserved Favorite point.

There is no longer parking within 500 feet of this one. It is more like a third of a mile since the Forest Service closed some of the roads around here.

Saw a couple of pre-teen kids climbing the cliff on the other side of the hill.

Quite a hike up the hill. Took us about 30 minutes to find it.

I forgot to say that I had this one planned on this date because 7years ago today it was hidden.

Once on top there were about 10 rock climbers and they were setting up three different ups and downs.

I looked for the cache and stopped to watch them for a while and back looking somemore.

There it is!

Thanks for a fun hide!

Yes, Snailman1 is the man!
We made the walk from the north with tired legs after doing Sheep Nose and many other caches. We got up on the ridge and looked for quite a while. I heard voices and realized a couple rock climbers were making their way up the crack on the vertical wall from the south. That would be a little too scary for me especially with the wind picking up.
Anyway, I was ready to call it quits after looking in every place I could think of. Then Snailman1 told me it hadn't been found in over 6 years and had 4 DNF's previously. I was over watching the rock climbers when Snailman1 said he got it! Sure enough, he pulled out an ammo box covered in dirt and debris!
Thanks for the memorable cache.
