This cache has been placed with Steamboat Lake State Park Managements blessing. Thank You!
There is a daily pass requirement of $7.00 or an annual pass for $70.00.
This cache was named before all the rains swelled up the lake, so, it is named after the tree we saw, which you can easily find by walking to the waters edge. It is 2 trees that have grown intertwined as if in love. It is currently a log only cache, larger bison tube size wrapped in camo tape. Contains a log, geocache note, and a pencil.
You will be treated to some very nice views of the lake and Sand Mountain from the trail.
Please rehide the cache as well as you can without moving it away from its current location.
The cache has been moved to the actual location it was named for. The move is only 95 feet, so it shouldn't cause any problems!
As always, please keep an eye out for any kind of social trail developing so we may move the cache if one starts. Thanks.
