Dangerous Animals

The 80's hair band series is dedicated to the only music that I like to call music. I'm talking about Rock. The 80's hair bands were known for three things: Writing and playing their own music, their long, stringy, sometimes permed hair, and sticking it to The Man. Many of these bands have been performing together for over 30 years.

Def Leppard started in England in 1977. They started gaining popularity in 1980. in 1983 their album Pyromania made them a household name. In 2003 that album made #384 on Rolling Stone's 500 greatest albums of all time. Since they started out, the band has sold an impressive 100 million albums. The drummer for the band, Rick Allen, is best known for is ability to play the drums with only one arm, as he lost his other arm in a car accident in 1984.The band has lost members along the way, but their most well known line up consists of Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Allen (drums) Vivian Campbell (guitar, back vocals) Rick Savage (bass, back vocals) and Phil Collen (guitar, back vocals). Their most well known songs include: Pour Some Sugar on Me, Photograph, Let's Get Rocked, Rock of Ages, Love Bites, Hysteria, Armageddon It, and Two Steps Behind. Def Leppard performed in Colorado most recently in 2012, and are performing this year (2014) at the end of June.

What a great day to be out caching with HiDude_98 and CuteLilFuzzyMonkey. Our cache mobile was huge and was like being in a bus, which was great for rome inside, but getting in and out was a challenge and tiring, especially with the wind blowing those big Yukon doors like it was. We had a great time in the area going for so many great caches. TFTC. SL.
