Another in my series of alphabetical pies. Kalakukko is a Finnish fish pie.
This cache is in honor of my sturdy Finnish grandmother who emmigrated to the UP (upper pennisula of Michigan).

She loved to bake and she brought a lot of interesting ethnic recipes with her. She lived in the woods and raised her own chickens. One day she climbed out of her window onto the roof, and shot a bear that was in her chicken coop.

Cache was in perfect condition, even pencil was working, even since it was long ago someone visited it!

I was so excited of finding my first ammunition box so I was thinking about stealing it, but not!

A much harder find than needed! My brother and I started to dig into the leftovers from squirrels but after some digging we saw it in bare sight!

We are staying at my fathers cousin and his wife Raija, warkid in Sweden from Finland during WW2, confirmed the name of the cache.

I couldn’t resist it since it was so long since someone visited it.

I will give it a favourite point just for it was to find it!

Cheers from Sweden!

After finding the cache below I decided I still had enough daylight to go on up for this one. The squirrels have been very busy in the area attempting to bury this cache.
