Looked for this one for quite some time several years ago and was unable to pinpoint the location. Came back today with Java Chip and used the hint to make the easy find. It's always fun to find one that has eluded us in the past. Java Chip has a victory dance for such finds. TFTC!

Getting logs caught up, now that retreat to a more southerly (& wayy hotter) home provides more useable internet!

Not too terribly difficult... All the way around the Mt Dewey trail counter-clockwise, on a gorgeous weekend day, and here, at last, I saw a few people from time to time!!.

This one gave me a few fits, but I finally found the strange container. I started at my GZ but nothing, then I tried the alt. coordinates provided by a previous finder but it was still pretty close to the original coordinates. I kept in mind the hint & kept looking for that special rock, but many seemed to have that look. I also remembered the 40' readings, but which direction? Finally I spotted what I thought for sure was the right rock, climbed there & sure enough there was the cache. Also, sure enough, my GPS was reading 40'!
