In the Ansel Watrous Campground, this cache was planted in honor of our Grandpa who made it possible for us to go camping. We wanted to make him a part of our first trip even though he could actually be there. The cache is a large pickle jar wrapped in black tape. Thanks Grandpa!

Day 17 of a 23 day caching trip with KCSearcher (my brother) with the goal of completing the Colorado Delorme Challenge and the county challenge called Mondo's Colorado 64 Challenge. In addition, we picked up the oldest cache in Colorado called Tarryall. Today we drove from Craig, CO to Fort Collins, CO picking up caches along the way for Delorme grids 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27 and counties Moffat, Routt, Grand, Jackson and Larimer. Signed all caches as ORCA as Bubblegummers are from OR and KCSearcher is from CA. TFTH. TNLNSL

Nice way to honor your Grandpa. Thanks for sharing! Beautiful spot to park and explore near the Poudre River.
